History of Baking Doux...


When I was in college, one of my finals required me to present a business plan to "investors" in the class. After debating all the options, I, of course, choose to market the need in our community for a specialized Bakery. This process allowed me the opportunity to dream up a logo, create a business strategy, and design packaging. I also had the chance to offer these "investors" samples of products offered by this bakery. Let's just say by the time I was finished I think everyone expected me to actually open in months...which of course helped me pass the class as well as the Final. So here we are and that is how Baking Doux was born...


About Me....




30-something baker...with an interest in anything with butter and sugar. Hearing my KitchenAid running makes me happy...as well as the bell on the timer...means something amazing is right behind that oven door.
